| (Navarro County) The next meeting of the Navarro County Lake Planning and Zoning Commission will be held Thursday August 5th at the Navarro Couinty Courthouse. At this meeting, the issue of whether a sour gas well can be drilled by Chinn Exploration will be discussed again after it was discussed and tabled at the July 1st meeting. A large crowd of concerned residents from the Richland Chambers Lake area and others were in attendance seeking more information on Chinn Exploration`s plans for a sour gas well located off FM 416 in the David H. Love Survey, Rash #1. The company is seeking a special exception to drill a gas well subject to statewide rule 36, a hydrogen sulfide well. Phil Seely has been named the new Navarro County Lake Planning and Zoning Administrator replacing the retiring Vicki Stoecklein. | |
